• Ontario College of Teacher’s Certificate
• Proficiency in Kanien’keha language
• Qualifications with respect to specialized subjects will be required, as per Ministry regulation

Position Summary
The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario is seeking a Kanien’keha Teacher for Grade 9 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Kanien’keha curriculum, adapting instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Kanien’keha curriculum guidelines.
• Maintain student records and assessments.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support student learning.
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
