Description The OEM Account Manager (Hybrid) role is responsible for managing, growing, and supporting assigned boat builder accounts while driving adoption of Power-Pole products across multiple platforms. This role blends relationship management, sales strategy, technical product knowledge, and cross-functional coordination to deliver best-in-class service, accurate forecasting, and seamless integration for our OEM partners. This role directly reports to the OEM Sales Manager. The ideal candidate brings marine industry experience, an understanding of OEM operations, and the ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth · Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned boat builder accounts. · Drive adoption of Power-Pole products including shallow water anchors, trolling motors, power management systems, plates, and accessories. · Develop account-specific growth strategies to increase product penetration and share of transom. · Identify and onboard new OEM opportunities. Product & Technical Support · Provide technical guidance on installation, rigging, and product selection for various hull styles and platforms. · Coordinate demos, trainings, and onsite visits with dealers and OEM manufacturing teams. · Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to resolve product and integration challenges. Forecasting & Operational Support · Gather and maintain accurate OEM forecasts by model, product type, and build cycles. · Work with supply chain and production teams to ensure product availability, lead-time alignment, and delivery accuracy. · Support planning for model-year launches, new product introductions, and production adjustments. Pricing, Programs & Compliance · Present and manage OEM pricing programs, annual adjustments, and policy updates (MRP, MAP, etc.). · Ensure account compliance, order accuracy, and complete documentation. · Prepare and deliver OEM program presentations, annual business reviews, and negotiation materials. Relationship Building & Representation · Build strong relationships with purchasing managers, engineering teams, rigging supervisors, and OEM leadership. · Represent Power-Pole at trade shows, OEM visits, product training events, demo days, and other industry activities. · Advocate internally for OEM partner needs while balancing company objectives. Requirements Qualifications Required · 3+ years inside or outside sales experience, preferably in the marine or related industry · Strong relationship-building and communication skills · Ability to interpret forecasts, manage account data, and understand supply chain principles · Technical aptitude with marine products, electrical systems, or rigging practices · Proactive problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills · Willingness to travel 30–40%+
