Lubrizol is currently looking for an OEM Business Development Manager, supporting Engineered Polymers. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships and executing account strategies at defined OEMs to grow volume & share globally by leveraging product and application, commercial acumen, customer focus and internal cross-functional collaboration. To be successful, you will formulate, initiate & implement account engagement plans to unlock new sources of sustainable revenue and profit.
This remote role can be based anywhere in the US where Lubrizol operates.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a broad network of key decision makers, influencers and product creation leads at the specified OEMs.
  • Partner with global cross-functional resources to support and manage customers’ product design cycle from ideation to prototyping then mass production.
  • Execute commercial arrangements with OEMs to ensure value capture throughout the global supply chain.
  • Collaborate with regional sales, technical teams, and supply organization to ensure end-to-end support throughout the commercialization process.
  • Implement platform, solution, and cross selling at the specified OEMs.
  • Regularly communicate with global business development and regional sales teams to share best practices, new applications and solutions, key value propositions, with the goal of improving our overall sales effectiveness.
  • Prioritize & manage complex, global development pipelines and projects, both internally and externally, to achieve defined goals agreed upon with the OEMs.
  • Define, track and communicate key performance indicators for OEM project across various stages of maturity cross multiple functions and departments.
  • Continuously scout the business landscape to identify new applications, technologies and OEMs which align with the defined Engineered Polymers strategy.
