OverviewKinara Group are exclusively retained on a senior commercial leadership opportunity with a global manufacturer of precision-engineered surgical components, seeking to drive growth across Europe. Core focus on Germany and West Europe. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and leading regional sales and marketing efforts within the surgical devices space.

The OpportunityYou will take ownership of business development across Europe, working with (selling to) leading manufacturers, OEMs, and private-label partners. This role suits a commercially driven leader who combines strong technical understanding with the ability to influence stakeholders and close complex deals across international markets - critical to have B2B/ OEM experience within medical devices or healthcare, selling raw material or product manufacturing services to other manufacturers..

  • Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & GrowthIdentify, develop, and secure new B2B customers across the region
  • Expand existing accounts and increase share of wallet within key clients
  • Drive lead generation through market insights, networking, and industry engagement
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers
  • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine strategy


  • Regional RepresentationTravel extensively across Europe to meet clients and develop opportunities
  • Represent the business at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events


  • Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, R&D, and leadership teams
  • Translate customer needs into commercially viable solutions
  • Manage complex stakeholder environments and balance competing priorities effectively


  • What You’ll Bring10–15 years of experience in sales & marketing within surgical sutures, needles, or related medical device sectors
  • Strong track record of winning new business and growing international markets
  • Deep understanding of the European healthcare and medical device landscape
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate strategically while executing at pace
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
