JOB DESCRIPTION:
At Regions, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Funds Transfer Specialist processes and reviews wire transfers for potential OFAC matches.
Primary Responsibilities
Processes incoming and outgoing wire transfers
Reviews funds transfers for potential OFAC matches
Investigates true OFAC matches and contacts branches, customers and other banks to clear the potential match
Documents findings and report to management an internal compliance department for final review
Responds to inquiries by email and telephone
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Four (4) years of operations or related experience
Preferences
Knowledge and experience in processing wire transfers
Investigation and analytical skills

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future in Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, or Charlotte, NC. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.
