Responsibilities

As an off-cycle intern in the debt advisory team, you will experience first-hand how we are helping our clients, and partners realise opportunity as part of our Macquarie Capital team. Your responsibilities could include conducting research and analysing company and industry specific financial information, supporting in financial modelling for state-of-the-art infrastructure financial models, and supporting with pitch presentations and other day-to-day deal activities to raise debt facilities for our clients. You will also be involved in preparing client presentations, providing debt-related market updates, assisting in due diligence processes, and coordinating the execution of advisory mandates and principal investments all whilst sitting side by side experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require five days a week in our office location

What you offer

  • You are a student in your final or penultimate year of university (bachelor or master) and are looking to gain working experience quickly versus a structured programme.
  • Excellent language skills in both German and English
  • Intellectual curiosity and aptitude for problem solving and numerical analysis
  • You are interested to learn about debt instruments and to work on live projects with a focus on energy transition or digital infrastructure.
