Minimum Qualifications: * Must be a retired or off-duty sworn police officer with a valid law enforcement certification or license. * Demonstrated knowledge of local, state, and federal laws applicable to law enforcement duties. * Ability to pass background checks and maintain a clean disciplinary record from prior law enforcement service. * Valid driver’s license and the physical capability to perform law enforcement duties as required. * Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations. Responsibilities: * Provide security and law enforcement presence at private events, businesses, or community functions as assigned. * Direct Traffic to assist logistics companies in helping trucks exit their facilities and roadways. * Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activities while off duty or in a retired capacity. * Conduct routine patrols and surveillance to deter criminal behavior and ensure the safety of people and property. * Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and private security teams to coordinate safety efforts and share relevant information. * Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken during assignments. Skills: The required skills are essential for effectively maintaining safety and security in various off-duty or retired officer roles. Strong communication skills enable clear interaction with the public, clients, and law enforcement partners, ensuring coordinated responses to incidents.
