Job Details Job Location: 304 City of Virginia Beach - Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Any The Night Manager oversees the daily operations of both on-street and off-street parking enforcement programs during evening / nighttime hours. This position is responsible for managing staff, enforcement of local parking regulations, promotes efficient use of public parking spaces, and manages Ambassadors to deliver high-quality service. Manage special events (parking) and assist the city in gathering information on parking patterns at meters, in neighborhoods, and duration of stay (lots / garages. Creates a positive image of the City of Virginia Beach by demonstrating a high degree of professionalism. Knowledge Responsibilities: Staff Management: Train and supervise on-street and off-street parking enforcement staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Customer Service: Address and resolve customer complaints and disputes related to parking citations and policies, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Performance Monitoring: Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. Compliance and Enforcement: Ensure enforcement of parking regulations, including knowledge of parking codes and record-keeping procedures. Operational Efficiency: Maximize efficiency and revenue of parking locations by analyzing parking patterns and collaborating with city officials on data gathering. Communication: Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with staff, customers, and city officials to promote a positive image of Virginia Beach. Problem-Solving: Utilize critical thinking skills to address issues and implement solutions effectively under pressure. Documentation: Create and maintain accurate records of void reports, complaint resolutions, and operational standards. Technology Utilization: Utilize computer systems and software (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) effectively to manage operations and reporting. Manages daily operations of on-street / off street parking operations in the resort area and Sandbridge. Ensure that staff knows and follows all company policies and regulations. Addresses escalated customer complaints and disputes related to parking citations or policies. Monitors staff performance, provides feedback, and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures. Oversee the training of on and off-street staff on parking policies, violation codes and creating citations. Coordinates scheduling to ensure sufficient coverage for enforcement and operations. Conducts performance evaluations and provide coaching to ensure high levels of professionalism and productivity. Aids and support for upper management. Use reporting platforms to research, analyze, and evaluate data. Addresses and resolves guest and employee concerns. Assist in the field with operations as needed for special events and busy weekends. Attending all management meetings.
