JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is focused on the sales of OnRobot’s Off-The-Shelf Solutions, which include fully automated CNC machine tending solutions as well as palletizers. Off-The-Shelf Solutions use OnRobot’s revolutionary D:PLOY platform to deliver fully automated robotic solutions that don’t require any robotics experience or programming knowledge. These solutions offer same-day installation, quick workpiece changeover, and complete pricing transparency which make them perfect for companies of any size or experience level. The primary responsibility will be to acquire new business with customers (manufacturers) not currently utilizing robots or automation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years and proven track record in industrial sales.
  • Experience in machine tools sales or good understanding CNC machining customers required.
  • Results focused self-starter with high energy and motivation to operate independently and implement plans effectively and efficiently.
  • Good problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 80%. Occasional overseas business trips may be required.
  • Native German speaker with English proficiency (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
  • Execute on sales targets.
  • Find, contact, and qualify new sales opportunities with manufacturers in Germany doing CNC Machining and/or palletizing.
  • Conduct independent searches for potential manufacturers/customers.
  • Value pitch/sell to production and factory managers.
  • Provide routine follow-up reports to the manager, including plans, qualified leads, pipeline updates, etc.
  • Organize schedule and activities in a clear and structured manner.
  • Be on the road 3-4 days a week in Germany.
  • Facilitate co-visits with distribution partners.
