Role Overview The Office/Accounting manager leads the dealership’s day-to-day accounting operations and office administration. You’ll manage a small team, ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support leadership with timely insights. Key Responsibilities · Oversee daily cash, deposits, and bank reconciliations; maintain the schedule of GL accounts and month-end close · Manage AP/AR, deal posting, titling paperwork, and DMV remittances; ensure proper documentation and retention · Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and composites; assist with annual budgeting and audits · Monitor internal controls for sales, service, parts, and F&I; address variances and implement corrective actions · Supervise office staff: hiring, training, performance feedback, and workload prioritization · Coordinate with department managers to ensure accurate RO posting, parts inventories, and warranty submissions · Maintain compliance with federal/state/local regulations (e.g., lien/tax, privacy) and dealer policies · Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and CSI across administrative workflows · Other duties as assigned Qualifications · 3–5 years automotive accounting and office experience in a franchised dealership · Proven people management experience leading office/accounting teams · Strong knowledge of GAAP; proficiency with DMS (e.g., CDK, Reynolds), Excel, and document controls · Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving; ability to meet tight deadlines · High integrity, professionalism, and service orientation aligned to Stocker Auto values Compensation & Benefits Salary $50,000–$80,000 depending on experience; · Medical, Dental, Vision insurance · Retirement Plan Comprehensive benefits available per company policy.
