Location: Birmingham Business Park, B37 7YN
Salary: £24,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly detailed-oriented, motivated, and organized individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills and experience in writing organizational standard operating procedures. Has the ability to manage the documentation system and follow change control process.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE (NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • Familiarity with waste sewerage operations and maintenance processes
  • Exposure to waste operational and customer-related issues
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficient in Excel and general spreadsheet management
  • Solid IT skills across Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently with self-discipline
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Provides support with writing and editing standard operating procedures across the ECAS organization.
  • Works closely with our staff and Senior Leadership Team to understand our business processes.
  • Gathers information from staff members currently doing processes across the organization and recommends shared practices that consider the varied staff needs and provide consistency across the organization.
  • Ensures that documentation is written in a user-friendly format and provide clear guidance to team members.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
