Under the direction of the Fiscal Officer, provides high level customer service support for fiscal and procurement functions within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). Serves as the point of contact for faculty, staff, students and guests regarding finance, travel, and procurement activities. Initiates and processes transactions related to finance, travel, and procurement. Assists with monthly reconciliation and monitoring of associated activities. Manages MAE financial transaction records and files. Researches and resolves issues that may arise relating to financial transactions, manages departmental Blackwell and Faculty Club Accounts, and University and OSP P-Cards. Ensures segregation of duties in the processing of every transaction, appropriate mandatory approvals, and reconciliation as directed by the college internal control structure. Works with the college Business Operations Center (BOC) to ensure efficient processing of transactions. Assists with department events, other office functions and duties as assigned.
Required Education: HS Diploma/GED
Desired Education: Post Secondary Training in Accounting/Bookkeeping
Required Experience: 1 year of relevant experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping.
Desired Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
Pay range: $18.37-23.99/hr.
The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
