POOL SHOP OFFICE ADMINISTRATION & SALES ASSISTANT

Poolside Beaconsfield has a rare opportunity available for the right person. We are looking for someone special who can assist with both front and back of house duties. You will never have two days the same! It’s an exciting role that will keep you busy and challenge you. You will also have the option of full-time or part-time. We are a Bioguard Platinum Retailer, SPASA member and sponsor of local community organisations including the Beaconsfield Football Club and Narre Warren Football Club. We specialise in quality pool and spa chemicals and ensure our customers world class standards across all service and product lines.
While someone from the Swimming Pool Industry will have a distinct advantage, we are happy to assess individuals who have a desire to learn and work in this exciting industry and who can demonstrate a background that supports both administrative experience and retail sales.

Preference will be given to those with the following attributes:

  • Administrative duties within a retail store
  • Strong computer skills
  • Retail / Customer Sales experience - particularly in a technical field
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • Great communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Entering Data accurately into computers relative to sales, incoming stock, invoicing, receipts, stock-takes, pricing etc
  • Preparing quotes
  • Following up customers for sales and quotes
  • Following up customers for final payments
  • Answering telephones in a professional manner
  • Greeting & caring for customers in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Performing water tests on swimming pool samples
  • Providing appropriate and accurate advice to customers
  • Assisting customers to purchase the correct products or spare parts for their needs
  • Sales of pool equipment, chemicals, accessories and other related items
  • Ordering of stock
  • Receiving in of goods
  • Re-stocking product into the shop for retail
  • General retail shop duties
