JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to support our central administration team. This role involves predominantly managing the filing room. Also supporting handling and processing delivery/collection paperwork, procedures, and providing guidance to office staff and drivers, all while fostering a positive office atmosphere.
The ideal candidate would have some experience of the Transport industry, however this is not essential as training and coaching would be provided. Attention to detail is key.

Responsibilities
  • Organise and manage administrative tasks within the departments.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, utilising various databases, tracking systems, and liaising with drivers.
  • Answer internal and external calls.
  • Input and understand details on the company database.
  • Handle and proof customer delivery requests.
  • Perform filing and filing room management and housekeeping duties.
  • Undertake other general administrative tasks as required.
  • Take initiative and seek out additional work whenever possible.
  • Assist and support other employees.
  • Address customer email and telephone queries and requests.
