CENTURY 21 Affiliated, the #1 CENTURY 21 franchise in the WORLD, is seeking an Office Administrative Assistant to join our team in Houghton, MI.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives both independently and in a team, has a proactive and energetic personality, and is eager to support our real estate professionals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma required
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience required
  • Previous administrative assistant and/or data entry experience highly desirable
  • 1 year of Microsoft Office Suite experience required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written) including the ability to proofread documents and identify errors
  • Stellar customer service is a must; good diplomacy skills also required
  • Strong computer and internet competence, along with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly and thoroughly. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word required, advanced knowledge preferred.
  • Collaborative and works well in a team environment
  • Dynamic self-starter, who takes ownership of a task and completes it in a timely fashion
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure by being able to multi-task, prioritize workload and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the Real Estate industry is a plus
    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional hours may occasionally be required based on business needs.
    This position is based in our Houghton office. As we support multiple locations throughout the state, additional assistance for other offices may be needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support including bookkeeping and transaction management for the office
  • Manage phones, process new listings, accepted offers, closing paperwork, ordering signs and entering in data
  • Greet walk-in clients and guests as well as maintain office lobby and agent work areas
  • Administer new partnership paperwork and training on our tools and systems for new agents
  • Efficiently manage social media postings and internet searching
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed
