About Amped Electric
Amped Electric is a growing electrical contracting company based in Brandon, MB, providing high-quality residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical services. We’re modernizing our operations and seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Office Administrator/Accountant to oversee accounting functions, manage day-to-day administrative tasks, and help streamline workflows using Jobber and QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities
· Accounting & Bookkeeping
· * Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
· * Record transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and track cash flow
· * Process payroll and prepare T4s and ROEs
· * File GST and PST remittances
· * Maintain accurate records for job costing and profitability tracking
· Job Coordination & Client Billing
· * Use Jobber to set up and manage client jobs and schedules
· * Track job progress and technician assignments
· * Generate invoices and monitor payments
· * Communicate with clients regarding quotes, billing, and service updates
· Administrative Support
· * Manage incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries
· * Maintain digital and physical filing systems, including vendor and project records
· * Order office and job-site materials as needed
· * Assist with documentation for safety compliance, insurance, and licensing

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration and/or accounting
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online (required)
  • Experience with Jobber or similar job management software (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Experience in the trades, construction, or service sector is a strong asset
