Join our team of three in our Dartmouth CPA firm!
Permanent Full Time position - Seeking Office Administrator available up to 37.5 hours per week. Hours of operations are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm located in Dartmouth.
Start date between October and November.

Role includes but not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls, greeting clients
  • Printing, photocopying, scanning,
  • Document control – PDF client tax returns and yearend packages, sending the PDF’s to clients, sending docs to clients for signing
  • Summarizing client data
  • Reconciling bank accounts, accounts receivables and payables
  • Preparing and filing GST/HST returns
  • Preparing personal tax returns
  • Recording journal entries as required
  • Reporting to team member and owner

Requirements / Education & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 year completion of Business college diploma, or 4 year Business Degree
  • Reliable, punctual for 9:00 am start time
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience working with QuickBooks Online and Sage 50 accounting software an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent communication skills - both written & oral - fluent in English
  • Strong attention /accuracy to detail, be a team player
  • Self-motivated, respectful and adhere to our policy of confidentiality / privacy
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Specific software Training available
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen and recent graduate from a Canadian institution
