OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR (ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE) – NORTH YORK, ON

Position: Accounts Receivable/Office Correspondence
Location – North York, ON (Norfinch Dr & Steeles Ave W)
Anticipated start date – ASAP
Days - Monday - Friday
Time – 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM
Pay Rate – $19-21/Hr.
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Account Receivable clerk to handle various accounting tasks. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounts receivable and Office Correspondence (Email Correspondence/Phone calls/Office Liaison). This position involves invoicing, billing, handling returns, courier coordination, and other clerical duties related to accounting.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in accounting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting, AR, or AP roles is an advantage, but entry-level candidates with relevant education will also be considered.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, MS Office and office applications.

Responsibilities –

  • Prepare and process invoices and billing accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage accounts receivable and email correspondence/handling phone calls functions.
  • Organize a courier schedule for afternoon shipments.
  • File tax returns and maintain proper documentation.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Creating and maintaining filing systems
