ArborDocs, a growing and dedicated tree care company based in Princeton, TX, is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Office Administrator to become a partner of our daily operations. This is a unique contract-to-hire opportunity. The position begins as a 1099 independent contractor during a procedural learning period. For the right candidate who shows proficiency of our company’s processes and demonstrates a strong work ethic, there is a clear path to transition into a full-time W2 employee role.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING (QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Required: A current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from our office.
  • Required: Proven reliability, a strong work ethic, and a high level of dependability.
  • Required: Comfortable using technology and software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and a willingness to learn industry-specific platforms like Salesforce.
  • Significant Plus: Previous office administration experience in a tree service, landscaping, or related trade industry. (Note: Relevant industry experience may qualify you for a higher starting pay rate).
  • Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly valued.
  • Preferred: Excellent communication skills and clear handwriting for accurate note-taking.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our valued clients, providing exceptional customer service via phone and email.
  • Assist with scheduling, routing, and coordinating our tree care crews for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide field support for our arborist during client consultations, including note-taking, navigation, and accessing digital records on-site.
  • Manage and process essential paperwork, including proposals, invoices, and work orders.
  • Assist with running company errands as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment to ensure smooth daily operations.
