Job Title: Administrative assistant / Receptionist
Location: Dental Clinic in the West Island
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Clinic Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM (required)
- (No nights)

Our dental clinic in the West Island is committed to providing high-quality care in a friendly and professional environment. We are currently looking for a full-time Administrative assistant / Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (French and English) and have at least 5 years of dental receptionist or dental assisting experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As our Dental Secretary / Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the front desk and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will handle a range of administrative tasks including scheduling, billing, and patient communication. The position requires an individual who is independent, reliable, flexible, and a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments, recalls, and coordinate patient follow-ups
- Process billing for RAMQ and insurance claims
- Prepare and explain treatment plans to patients
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing patient records, office correspondence and insurance communications
- Work closely with the entire dental team to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of dental receptionist or dental assisting experience
- Fully bilingual (French and English) spoken and written
- Knowledge of dental assisting is a plus (Dental Assistants are welcome to apply)
- Strong computer skills and experience with office management software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive, professional, and friendly attitude
- Must be available to work every Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
