JOB DESCRIPTION FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR:

Anglo Skills College (ASC), is an Education and Training provider located in the city centre of Nottingham offering a range of education courses and training opportunities.
The college currently has an opportunity for an Office Administrator. Applications are welcome from individuals with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience providing administrative support within an educational environment is desirable, although not essential as training will be provided.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal and will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office, liaising with staff and students and maintaining relationships with business partners.
Accountabilities include supporting the administrative functions of the office; registering students, maintaining accurate records, sending communications to staff and students and using online data systems.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
· Providing information to prospective students via reception telephone and email.
· Responding to emails and maintaining a tidy inbox.
· Handling telephone enquiries and accurate message taking.
· Communicating with stakeholders including Awarding Bodies and Recruitment Agents.
· Managing the Principals diary.
· Support with compiling reports, research and collation.
· Updating the website and ensuring information is up to date, clear and accurate.
· Assisting with course promotional activity and creating posters / flyers.
· Liaise with partnerships including local councils, Outreach organisations and business links.
· Maintaining accurate student and staff records and data.
· Compiling timely communications to students and staff.
· Compile meeting agenda’s and accurate minute taking.
· Support with student and staff recruitment activity.
· Handling sensitive data confidentially and securely.
· Adherence to all college policies, including those related to safeguarding and student safety.
· Attendance to college Open Days and seminars.
· Undertake other responsibilities as directed by the Principal.

· Answer phone, take/distribute messages, and dispatch via radio appropriately
· Manage databases as assigned
· Prepare letters, labels, envelopes, documents, reports, etc.
· Assist with personnel administration such as timesheets and payroll records
· File, copy, and/or deliver or mail documents
· Assist with marketing and funding-related issues
· Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
· Perform other duties as assigned/needed

EXPERIENCE.

· 2 years+ experience within an administrative role
· Proficient in using Microsoft, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
· 1 year+ experience in Office management and multitasking skills.
The successful candidate will be required to develop a relative understanding of the range of courses and services that the college offers.

Contract: Part-time
Salary: national minimum wages depending on experience.
