JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator for three days a week to start and if we keep growing, potentially more. I am flexible on working hours if you have children that need to be dropped off etc. as long as the times are consistent. Black Tie Electric inc. is looking for someone who works hard but knows how to keep things light. The office is based out of my home in Airdrie, you will have your own office space and bathroom downstairs and potentially in the next year have our owm office space either here or in the North part of the city. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management and administrative support, with experience in managing various office functions. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations within the office, supporting team members, and maintaining effective communication across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in an office administration role with clerical experience preferred
  • Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating strong team management skills
  • Experience in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial management tasks. What you don’t know, we can train you.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with human resources processes, including payroll management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with vendor management and budgeting practices is desirable
