Carnevale is a family-run Italian food manufacturer and one of the UK’s leading importers and distributors of Italian cheese, meats, pasta, wines, and provisions. We supply nationwide to the wholesale, catering, and restaurant industry. This role is based in our pasta production facility, easily accessible via public transport.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in an office or administrative role (HR experience preferred)
  • Good IT and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (Italian language skills are a bonus)
  • Able to start early (6:30 AM start) and work in a fast-paced environment
    Salary: From £27,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience)
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Office & HR Administrator to support daily operations in our busy production office. The role involves a mix of HR, payroll support, administration, customer service, and supplier coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with HR tasks including:
  • Posting job ads
  • Scheduling interviews and trial shifts
  • Right-to-work checks and starter paperwork
  • Updating holiday calendars
  • Support payroll by recording and calculating hours worked
  • Answer and resolve customer queries professionally
  • Process supplier invoices and raise purchase orders
  • Prepare order labels daily for production
  • Generate reports and maintain records using internal systems
