POSITION SUMMARY

The Office Administrator provides crucial support for the school’s operations and mission.
The office administrator plays a key role in fostering a welcoming and organized environment interacting with staff, students, parents, and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Believe that the Bible is God’s inerrant word
  2. Be committed to a consistent daily walk with God
  3. Consistently attend a local church
  4. Adhere to the CHS statement of faith
  5. Be a Christian role model committed to God’s Biblical standards as outlined in the staff handbook
  6. Demonstrate the ability to accept and carry out responsibilities and make competent, professional decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in office software such as MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Maintain accurate records
· Demonstrate enjoyment in helping others

Responsibilities

o Answer phone, respond to emails, greet visitors and guests
o Provide a welcoming and helpful environment for visitors and direct them to the appropriate person
o Oversee signing in and signing out of students, staff and visitors entering and leaving the school
o Maintain student files, attendance records, and other important school documents
o Assist the principal and staff with tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and event planning
o Report to the principal and treasurer
o Process invoices, manage petty cash, or assist with budget tracking
o Perform pertinent bookkeeping and budgeting tasks
o Accept and process school payments
o Make bank deposits
o Order school and textbook supplies as directed
o Sort and distribute mail
o Attend to students’ first aid requirements, manage student medication
o Operate and maintain office equipment
o Make sure the office is staffed from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
o Update and keep the school website current
