SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive office administrator to manage daily operations in our office as well as performing vital accounting functions. As office administrator, responsible for performing administrative activities which create an inviting and efficient workspace. In accounting assistant role, responsible for supporting the EVP of Finance by performing a variety of accounting processes.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in office administration. Experience with managing a commercial office building preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes required.
- Proficiency in office equipment and software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
- Experience with QuickBooks online accounting software and member/customer database highly desired
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Self-directed, detailed, results-oriented work style with ability to work in close harmony with others
Responsibilities:
OTHER DUTIES:
- Develop and implement procedures and systems to improve office administrative efficiency.
- Occasionally assist CEO by prioritizing mail, communicating with board and members, coordinating travel, and more.
- Sort incoming mail.
- Assist as needed at association and foundation events.
- Other duties as assigned.
