Join our growing Architectural and Engineering Practice in Castleblayney, County Monaghan. With a reputation for excellence and a diverse portfolio ranging from residential and commercial projects to large-scale housing schemes, we are expanding and looking for a dedicated Office Administrator to support our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and supporting senior management with a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle general administrative and secretarial tasks, including filing, photocopying, and correspondence with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage bookkeeping, prepare invoices, track payments, process monthly wages, and create detailed reports and analysis using Excel.
  • Oversee daily office operations, manage supplies, coordinate maintenance, and address office-related issues.
  • Drafting and collating documents for project bids, and tenders. E-tender experience would be useful but not essential.
  • Maintain the company’s online presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, and create polished materials using tools like Canva, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Maintain record for the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Organise team-building activities, office events, and wellness initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records while ensuring basic HR compliance.
  • Tackle additional tasks as required to support the team and office operations.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • At least 5 years’ experience in an office environment; experience in professional services is a plus.
  • A professional, friendly, and creative attitude with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, reports, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and under direction.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
