Dominion Nickel Alloys is a family-owned and operated scrap metal processor that specializes in stainless steel and nickel-based alloys. At the company, we use state of the art equipment to sort, analyze, and process various forms of scrap metal to be packaged as a final product for our customers.
We are currently looking for motivated candidates to expand our administrative team at our location in Burlington, Ontario. Candidates should be adaptable in fast paced environments, able to work effectively independently as well as in a team, able to learn new skills quickly, and take initiative and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Office Administrator role provides administrative support for the organization. A successful candidate will work within a small team to organize paperwork, maintain files, and direct external communications. This is an in person role with hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 1pm Fridays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative duties in the office
  • Answer office phones, direct calls, record and relay messages
  • Match settlements and invoice paperwork
  • Administrative tasks such as scanning and emailing invoices/purchase settlements/other documents and putting together documents from different departments
  • Updating tracking spreadsheets and generating reports (Excel skills required)
