Description The Office Administrator / Executive Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations and executive leadership of Star Manufacturing. This position serves as the organizational backbone of the office, balancing administrative excellence, executive support, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, organization, and adaptability while acting as a trusted partner to leadership and a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Executive & Leadership Support Provide direct administrative and executive support to the Division President and select members of the leadership team Manage calendars, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and meeting materials Track action items and follow up on commitments to ensure timely execution Office Administration Serve as the primary administrative contact for the Smithville facility office Manage office operations including supplies, vendor coordination, mail, and general facility support Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems Support onboarding logistics for new salaried employees and visitors Communication & Coordination Act as a professional liaison between leadership, employees, customers, and corporate partners Coordinate internal meetings, leadership events, and special projects Assist with internal communications, announcements, and documentation as needed Confidentiality & Professionalism Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity Exercise sound judgment when prioritizing requests and managing competing deadlines Additional Support Provide administrative support for Sales, HR, Finance, or Operations as needed Support continuous improvement initiatives related to office processes and efficiency Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent 3–5 years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or office management role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree Experience supporting executive-level leaders in a manufacturing or industrial environment Familiarity with ERP systems or HRIS platforms (Paylocity experience a plus) Key Competencies Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Proactive, self-directed, and solution-oriented mindset Ability to anticipate needs and operate with minimal supervision Strong alignment with Star’s values of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence Work Environment On-site role within a manufacturing facility office Occasional flexibility in hours may be required to support leadership schedules Collaborative, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction across departments
