Gartside Marine Engines are seeking an office administrator to work in beautiful Oak Bay
We are a family-owned business based in both Sidney and Oak Bay providing mechanical services to the marine community for over 30 years. We are seeking an office administrator for our Oak Bay office located at the Oak Bay Marina.
As office administrator you will be responsible for answering phones, invoicing customers, paying vendor bills, tracking employee hours, Inventory organisation/management and working with the manager to ensure the smooth running of the operation.

Qualifications

  • Awesome Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to multitask
  • Resourceful, ability to research and source parts (with mechanics assistance)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest/Knowledge of the marine industry an advantage
  • Ability to carry 20lbs and ability to go up and down stairs multiple times a day

This is a full time permanent, regular hours position Monday – Friday
Benefits package offered after 3 months. paid time off between Christmas and New Year
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
