ABOUT US

The Kore Dance Project is a vibrant, welcoming dance studio where creativity, teamwork, and community thrive. We’re looking for an organized, personable, and motivated individual to join our team as Office Administrator — a position designed to grow into our Office Manager role as our current Office Manager transitions into retirement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes initiative, and wants a long-term role with increasing responsibility.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & G-Suite (knowledge of Dance Studio Pro is an asset – we will train)
  • Experience or Background knowledge in dance is an asset.
  • Customer service experience, ideally in an educational or arts environment
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy, dynamic setting
  • Must provide a valid Criminal Record Check (if over 18)
  • Reliable transportation to and from the studio
Responsibilities

YOUR FIRST YEAR: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist customers (students, parents, and visitors) with professionalism and warmth
  • Support the Studio Director and Office Manager with daily administrative tasks
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming studio environment

  • Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and in person
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including social media and community events
  • Participate in team meetings and occasional special events (e.g. parades, open houses)

Working with the Office Manager during the year, you will be trained to take on expanded responsibilities including:

  • Overseeing front office operations and staff scheduling
  • Coordinating communications between departments
  • Managing studio invoicing and reporting

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for parents, teachers, and community partners
