MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years proven experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, the ability to communicate with customers on the phone and via email is key
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent multi-taking and time-management skills
  • A friendly, can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in

Preferred Requirements (inclusive of the above requirements)

  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role within an engineering or metrology based environment
  • Experience with using XERO accounting software

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring both smooth and consistent day-to-day operation of our office and laboratory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arranging quotes for sales and calibration services
  • Liaising with customers over the phone and via email in a professional manner
  • Receiving and processing orders
  • Shipping and packing of completed orders
  • Job closure, invoicing, and processing customer payments
  • Scanning of complete jobs and technical data
  • Arranging third-party calibration
  • Assisting with the booking in of calibration goods, which includes unboxing, checking off, and booking in goods as per company procedures
