JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an Office Administrator to work in the office, 35-40 hours weekly.
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 3:00pm (finish time anywhere between 3:00pm to 4:00pm during busy season and semi-busy season)
Fridays: 8:00am - 3:00pm
There will be one 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks daily; all breaks paid for.

As a general rule of thumb, we would like for you to keep your area tidy/clean. The following responsibilities are expected after the Training period:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Mail handling; attaching suppliers’ invoices with corresponding packing slips
  • Scaling trucks in and out daily
  • Transferring info from scale tickets onto iPad
  • Entering data onto an online affiliate program
  • Preparing bill of ladings for outbound shipments
  • Producing scale tickets/stock bag tickets (when running low)
  • Customer and Vendor communication via email when necessary
  • Filing - done proactively on a weekly or semi-weekly basis
  • Daily light house chores as needed during free time i.e. sweeping office area, tidying up office cabinets/drawers etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This individual will need to have fluent English and great interpersonal/communication skills along with the capability to conceptually understand their job duties while being able to prioritizing their work. Attention to detail and the initiative to actively seek out things to do/help out with, in the office during non-peak hours is highly valued.
There is a three month probation period, where we will assess/discuss this individual’s work performance at any given time during this period and determine whether satisfaction is met.
