About the RoleWe are looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our Fuel Specialties EMEA CTS team based in Ellesmere Port. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with engineers, chemists, managers, logistics teams and external service providers to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the department.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide administrative support across the CTS team at our Ellesmere Port and Millbrook sites.
  • Produce, maintain and organise engineering, technical and project documentation, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain departmental records, databases and SharePoint sites, including project tracking and material compatibility data.
  • Support project and operational activities, including maintaining engineering project information and managing stock levels of consumables and spare parts.
  • Coordinate the servicing, testing and maintenance of laboratory and safety equipment and support the management of supplier contracts.
  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and goods receipting activities through SAP, supporting departmental financial administration and reporting.
  • Liaise with suppliers, couriers and external service providers to support logistics and day-to-day departmental operations.
  • Coordinate employee medical assessments and support a range of site administration activities.
  • Provide general administrative and organisational support to the wider CTS team.


About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.You will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A high level of discretion, professionalism and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using SAP or similar business systems would be advantageous
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
