The Office Assistant has a flexible role that provides support to our Office Managers in administration related to expenses, payroll, receiving and inventory.

  • Use the latest ERP software system to specialize in the daily administration of purchase orders, shipments, inventory integrity and exflow
  • Communicate with vendors, head office accounting and associates to ensure documents are processed in a timely manner
  • Be the point of contact for uniforms and inquiries
  • Daily cash balancing
  • Creating reports and files as required
  • Completing daily timecards for payroll and keying schedules
  • Cover the Sales desk’s breaks and/or lunches
  • Perform administrative duties for the Office Manager as required
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Should be a team and result-oriented driven person
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to solve problems and work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Class 5 drivers license required
  • Have knowledge about customer service best practices
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset
