Responsibilities

PROJECT WORK RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Project Work visibility – tracking time on:

  • R&D work orders
  • Production engineering project work orders

Help create and maintain visual system “dashboard”

Cost control activities on:

  • R&D work orders
  • Production engineering project work orders

Work order administration such as allocating parts to the ERP system, creating demand, etc. as required
Track billing / recovery for applicable custom Engineering projects
Support activities related to SR&ED

ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Assist in weekly or bi-weekly engineering meetings
  • Perform duties for payroll, vacation approvals, etc.
  • Track, record and Process the ECR’s (Engineering Change Request) for production, service and aftermarket parts
  • Assist in the ECN (Engineering Change Notice) process
  • Administer activities in the Production Build Status project to ensure deliverables are met
  • Assist in adhering to ISO 9001:2015 system
  • Setting up parts / vendor quotes in the ERP system
  • Assist with BOM updates
  • Analyze data, generate reports
  • Assist with product advisories
  • Support for AR/AP/Reception/Front Desk
  • Support for Service department
  • Work order opening/closing
  • Invoicing
  • Payroll for service employees etc.
