Description

Office Administrator:

  • responsible for our paperless office flow of documents including copying paper documents, creating PDFs and organizing server database
  • assisting our staff accountants with creating electronic accounting files, tax files and other
  • communicating directly with our clients to schedule engagements, and to obtain signatures using electronic document signature software
  • assisting with invoicing clients and maintaining and collecting accounts receivable
  • maintaining and updating record systems, both digital and physical file system
  • excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook email, Word, Excel) and Adobe
  • excellent computer skills and familiarity with current software - must be able to navigate computer software and online software quickly
  • candidate must learn quickly, have a keen eye for mistakes, and strive for perfectio
Responsibilities

This position includes three responsibilities:

Office Administrator:

Bookkeeping:

  • assisting our staff accountants with client bookkeeping engagements as needed
  • bookkeeping through entire process including payroll
  • Knowledge of Profile tax, Caseware, Quickbooks, QBO or other online bookkeeping software is an asset
  • Direct communication with clients

Receptionist:

  • Front-line duties including answering telephones and greeting clients in person.
  • Courteous, friendly and confident manner
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills and extremely well organized.

This is one position with ability to perform all above functions seamlessly and continuously
