ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, an insurance underwriter in North Vancouver, is currently looking for an energetic and vibrant Office Administrator to join their team ASAP on a temporary part-time basis. This position works 15 - 20 hours a week and pays $23 - $24 an hour. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with general office support and keeping the office running.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 - 3 years of previous Office Administrative experience is a must
  • Mail processing experience is preferred
  • Strong Communication skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have ability to lift 30lbs
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Self Starter
Responsibilities
  • Completes printing and mail processing for outgoing claims checks and letters
  • Handle incoming & outgoing mail, including sorting, scanning, operating postage metering machine
  • Completes deposits
  • Provides general office support for a small office space
  • Office supply ordering
  • Vendor oversight - janitorial, office equipment, mail equipment, landlord, etc.
  • Provides shipment coordination
  • Completes other duties as assigned
