PSL Patrick Sprack Limited was formed in 2006 as a Preventative Maintenance Oriented HVAC company. Since this time, we have become a reputable and leading Northern Ontario HVAC-R contractor to the mines, industrial sites as well as commercial properties.
PSL Patrick Sprack Limited provides a variety of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, petroleum, propane, and refrigeration services ranging from planned maintenance (both preventative and full coverage), inspections and diagnostic services as well as repairs, retrofits and new installations for commercial and industrial mechanical systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an office administrator or in a similar role, preferably in the electrical, construction, or technical services industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management or dispatching software is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic electrical terminology, workflows, or project documentation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and maintain a well-organized and tidy workspace.
  • Provide administrative support to the electrical division, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
  • Manage dispatching tasks, including coordinating schedules and assigning jobs to field staff.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and departmental correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation, including permits, work orders, and compliance records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications related to the electrical division.
  • Answer phone calls, redirect inquiries, and provide professional customer service.
  • Manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and vendor payments.
  • Maintain and update databases and filing systems specific to the electrical division.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments for the team.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute documents as required.
  • Assist with tracking office expenses and preparing budget-related reports.
  • Monitor and order office supplies to ensure inventory levels meet department needs.
  • Coordinate with building management for office maintenance and repairs.
  • Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by management.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance office efficiency.
  • Other duties as required.
