Raven Concrete Ltd. is a growing construction company specializing in structural and architectural concrete projects within the lower mainland. We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship, reliable project delivery, and strong relationships with our employees and clients.
We are currently seeking a Project & Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is integral to keeping our operations running smoothly, supporting both the financial and administrative side of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and construction accounting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll, accounts receivable, and job costing.
  • Familiarity with WorkSafeBC reporting and apprentice hours filing an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with ownership, GCs, PMs, and subcontractors.

  • Project Coordination & Estimating Support
  • Read and interpret structural and architectural concrete drawings to support estimating and material ordering.
  • Coordinate with General Contractors (GCs) and Project Managers (PMs) on project requirements and progress.
  • Review contracts, obtain subcontractor pricing, and organize subcontractors for upcoming jobs.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Payroll & Compliance
  • Process biweekly payroll, providing payroll summaries to the owners.
  • File quarterly WorkSafeBC reports.
  • File ITA apprentice hours.
  • Onboard new employees into QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Canada Life Benefits.
  • Project Accounting & Cashflow
  • Prepare and manage progress invoicing using QuickBooks and schedule of values.
  • Maintain accurate project job costing and cashflow tracking.
  • Organize accounts receivable and monitor project cashflow.
  • Recruitment & HR Support
  • Create job postings for new hires when required.
  • Shortlist candidates for owner review.
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new employees.

  • Attend weekly meetings with owners to review projects, cashflow, and upcoming needs.
