Responsibilities

.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To provide administrative support to the Street scene Services quality assurance and performance.
  2. Process complaints and enquiries from Councillors, members of the public, external organisations and other Council departments, whilst maintaining good public relations; and recording actions using manual and computerised systems.
  3. To update, monitor, analyse and maintain a system of records and quality control data that is readily available to ensure accuracy and consistency of quality assurance information and service targets.
  4. To assist with performance reviews for all service operations within Street scene Services, including recording details of work operations, materials usage, survey information and external supplies.
  5. To assist in the application and development of IT systems and solutions to manage the quality and performance functions of the Street scene Team.
  6. To monitor and advise on the quality control procedure and claiming of work values, advising service managers officer of requirements for further investigations, studies or variation to valued descriptions.
  7. Liaise with supervisors and management on quality assurance issues, performance review queries, disputes and future target requirements.
  8. Monitor quality control progress and productivity performance; unmeasured works, lost time and report to the Street scene Managers (Refuse & Cleansing / Grounds Maintenance) on a regular basis.
  9. To assist in the production of quality assurance and performance information.
  10. To assist the service managers with projects/service improvement initiatives and VFM studies to achieve the organisational objectives and priorities.
