Description

Tim Moss - Chartered Professional Accountant is seeking a reliable and outgoing Office Administrator to join our growing practice. As the first point of contact with our clients, the ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and customer service skills. Previous experience in accounting and/or tax preparation is preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator in a similar reception/administrative/customer service role
  • Experience with data entry and basic bookkeeping is preferred
  • Experience in tax preparation considered an asset
  • Experience with accepting and processing payments - cash, cheque, and card
  • Exellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), Zoom, and general office equipment
  • Experience with Sage and Quickbooks considered an asset
  • Professional demeanor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Diploma or Degree in business/accounting or office administration
  • Minimum one year in a similar paid position
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week
