POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Administrator is responsible to take ownership of the day to day operation of the office and be proactive in maintaining and improving it.
The Administrator will organize, administer and control office activities, under the direction and supervision of the General Manager to ensure smooth office operations. The Administrator will support and collaborate with project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two or more years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a construction company.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other software’s
Government of Canada reliability clearance or ability to obtain it.
Bilingual (French/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performing a range of administrative services including organizing and responding to general inbox inquiries and phone calls.
Organizing the office and software system where required.
Manage the new hire onboarding process.
Downloading, Assembling and printing project documents.
Provide support to management for reporting or special projects.
Plan and execute staff appreciation events.
Providing top notch service to clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders by responding professionally and with a sense of urgency.
