We’re Hiring: Office All-Rounder – Business Development & Operations Assistant
Wigan | Full-time | Rate of pay dependent on experience
Safeseal Roofing Ltd is looking for a reliable, organised office all-rounder to join our growing team. This is a varied role that covers elements of business development, operations and admin – no two days are the same.
While a background in construction is preferred, it’s not essential – what matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
You’ll be based at our Wigan unit, working closely with the MD, Contracts Managers & Head of Operations to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of tasks, is confident on a computer, and wants to be part of a down-to-earth, family-run business.
The role will include things like:
Supporting the MD and Contracts Managers with day-to-day tasks
Getting involved in tender submissions and client communications
Helping with general office admin, planning and scheduling
Posting occasional updates on social media
Answering phones and being a friendly first point of contact
Assisting with health & safety paperwork and job tracking
Attending networking events – and confidently pitching Safeseal once you’ve got to know us
What we’re looking for:
Around 2 years’ experience in construction or a similar fast-paced industry
Someone organised, proactive and confident juggling multiple tasks
Strong computer skills – particularly Excel and Microsoft Office
A good communicator who works well as part of a team
Someone confident speaking in front of others and happy to represent the business
Someone who’s happy being based in our Wigan office with occasional trips out
Not afraid of early starts or rolling your sleeves up when needed

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
