Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. As an office and events specialist, you will Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Orders and replenishes office and kitchen supplies Performs other administrative duties as required, responding to requests for information, and supporting special meetings and projects. Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail or other documents. Reviews work for accuracy and compliance with established procedures. Makes photocopies, answers telephone as needed and uses a personal computer. May complete reports, standard form letters and memoranda. Ability to support events both locally and regionally Greets visitors to the Dallas Regional office, issues badges, and controls access to secure company areas. Logs & tracks incoming and outgoing deliveries. Schedules conference rooms and corresponding AV/IT details as needed based on requests both in person and via email. Maintains an orderly appearance of conference rooms and rooms setups as needed for meetings. Works with office building management team and facilities to address any maintenance concerns or requests. Uses market expertise to provide hotels, restaurants and city experience recommendations for visiting teams within the regional geography We'd love to hear from people with: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Ability to understand written and verbal policies and guidelines, specifications, and safety standards Basic math skills Flexibility to work overtime as required, even on short notice Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards, policies and guidelines Experience in coordinating events at varying levels Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Viva Engage, Content Creation and Generative AI Customer Service Skills Promote process improvement As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits.
