JOIN THE COBALT INSTITUTE – ADMINISTRATION & ACCOUNTS SUPPORT ROLE

Are you highly organized, detail-driven, and eager to make a real impact? The Cobalt Institute (CI) is the leading international trade association promoting the responsible and sustainable production and use of cobalt. .
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Administration and Accounts Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to be challenged, and can work independently.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll support our operations, finance, and membership teams, helping to keep everything running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • General administration and ad hoc support to senior managers
  • Managing invoices, payments, and cash transactions
  • Processing supplier invoices and credit card statements
  • Supporting subscription billing and member queries
  • Bank reconciliations and preparing financial reports
  • Administrative support for meetings, events, and executive schedules
  • Assisting with external audits and keeping accurate financial records

We want someone who takes pride in doing things well and can juggle multiple tasks with ease. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in admin and/or finance support (bookkeeping knowledge is a plus)
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel (pivot tables and formulas are a bonus)
  • Accuracy and efficiency in data entry
  • Brilliant organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Clear and professional communication skill
