We are looking for a qualified office business manager to lead and oversee the business in all aspects.
The candidate will be competent in all business aspects from the day to day running of the company, to managing the office and operation, dealing with issues and growing the company. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company activities drive and is a long-term success.
You will be expected to learn all aspects of the company, from the day to day actives in the office, to the engineer’s roles, and understand accountancy.

Business Manager Job Role
Research the business and investigate our current procedures and present new opportunities for growth including future goals.
To make sure the company is up to date with all guidelines, qualifications.
Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.)
Long term goal is to be actually managing the day to day running of the company.
Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals
Process tenders & PQQ’s accurately
Organize and coordinate operations in a way that ensure maximum productivity.
Maintain relationships with existing/new customers/suppliers.
Gather, analyse and interpret external and internal data and write reports.
Assess overall company performance against objectives.
Represent the company in events, conferences, site visits etc.
Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines are up to date.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Thoroughly understand the diverse business processes and strategy development.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and to learn & understand other portals, and platforms the company uses for example My Builder, My Job Quote, Fleetsmart MyMobileWorkers, Sage line 50, ISO 9000 & 1400, Construction line and any other portals the company may use.
Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques.
In the role, you must also manage and support current office/foreman in organizing and setting up teams in a morning before they leave the depot.
Ensure they are wearing the correct uniform and safety boots and are carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle are tidy, organised and set up with the correct materials and machinery ready for their duties.
Interact and provide updates where required to all customers/clients.
Ensure all work is carried out is to a high acceptable standard and within the correct time scale ready for handover on completion.
Assist Engineers and provide help and support where needed
Monitor and Manage staff issues and carry out reviews etc., with reports on progress with engineers or any further issues.
Report and solve all issues with defects with equipment.
Processing RAMS- Risk assessment applications.
Help with dealing with incoming and outgoing phone calls /emails, Complaints regarding on going work and new work and estimates coming in etc.
Carry out any other duties that contribute to the effective, efficient and quality performance of TT Drainage & Plumbing Ltd.
May occasionally be required to answer 24-hour work phone line during outside working hours if management are absent and as per rota system.
