Description Embrace U is an evidence-based mental health provider offering group therapy, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), designed for adolescents ages 10-18. Location: Smyrna, TN onsite Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p Salary: Up to $55,000 - dependent upon experience Patient Population: Adolescents ages 10-18 The office and patient coordinator provides quality administrative and clerical services for program staff and assists Embrace U patients with care needs. This position is a combination of administrative and supervised clinical work and would be ideal for a new graduate who is beginning their career in the behavioral health workforce. The office and patient coordinator will participate in clinical care as directed by and under the supervision of their assigned clinical supervisor. The office and patient coordinator’s responsibilities also include assisting with insurance verification/concurrent reviews and billing procedures. 3 Cs: Care – Provide the best possible patient care Compliance – Ensure the program operates within all regulations Community – Become a wonderful addition to your local community A. Care: All employees are expected to provide the best possible patient care. Ensure patient care needs are met while at the program. Provide group and individual services to patients under the supervision of a clinical supervisor. Ensure completion of the Census report as directed. Assist patients with completion of consents and patient admission process as directed. Take patient vital signs as directed. Participate in treatment team meetings and coordination of care when needed. Coordinate snacks for patients. Complete medical records including filing and form tracking. Responsible for inventory of supplies. Responsible for refrigerator logs and necessary action steps for temperature variances. B. Compliance: Ensure the program operates within all regulations. Comply with all regulations. Perform billing functions required for the program as directed. Ensure patient insurance verification and concurrent reviews are completed. C. Community: Become a wonderful addition to your local community. Demonstrate an understanding of community education definitions and activities. Participate in customer service training as it relates to community integration Keep up to date community education contacts as directed. Participate in cohesive team environment to ensure program success. Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree - preferred. Experience: experience in providing care to adolescents preferred. Experience performing administrative or clerical duties, working with computers and electronic medical records. Knowledge of community resources for adolescents.
