The Office Assistant is responsible for the efficient functioning of the office through a wide range of administrative, facilities, and management tasks. This includes creating a focused work environment, guiding, and coordinating the activities of office personnel to achieve business goals. These activities are evaluated and adjusted to improve and maintain efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. This is a full-time, in-office role. Job Location 14033 Denver West Parkway, Building #64, Suite 200, Lakewood, CO 80401 Compensation The Office Assistant earns competitive compensation from $23-25/hr. * What You Will Do in This Role Responsible for the office reception area. Ensure the corporate mailroom “hub” runs efficiently and seamlessly. Mail must be processed daily. Manage the office management ticketing system for work orders and other employee requests. Manages relationships with property managers, participates in lease renewals. Maintain an accurate inventory for office equipment, supplies and items in offsite storage. Administers and tracks keys, badge requests and key cards. Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. Obtain equipment returns from separated employees, working with IT, Legal and HRBPs. Serve as backup to Shipping/Receiving Specialist to ship out new hire equipment. Complete tickets assigned in the office management ticketing system for work orders and other employee requests. Performs or facilitates maintenance of office equipment including assembly, disassembly, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs and or contracts people for those services. Other duties as assigned. Requirements What You Need to Join Our Team Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as record keeping and filing. Ability to operate general office equipment (copier/printer/scanner, postage machine, label printer, scale, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., Jira) preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy; ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sit at an office desk for extended periods of time. Ability to tolerate dust and fumes from general cleaning and maintenance procedures. Ability to walk, stand and stoop and to put in and retrieve papers from filing cabinets. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Required Education/Certifications High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). One year of administrative assistant experience required, two years preferred.
