Description

The Boys and Girls Club is seeking a fantastic addition to their team. The position will involve supporting all aspects of non profit office duties including fundraising, promotion, networking, accountability to outcomes and evaluation. Working flexible hours to accommodate event schedules from time to time is essential. General office duties, answering phones, cleaning, data entry, donor relations, etc.
This position is best for someone who has a compassionate friendly personality, able to commit to work responsibilities and is a fast learner, willing to take on multiple new challenges.

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING

  • A clear criminal record, DSD, and First-Aid training (within 30 days of hire)
  • Training in office or events related field of study is an asset.
  • 1-3 years of related experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft office products as well as common internet applications.
  • Ability to learn new computer applications quickly and with confidence.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Experience managing others effectively.
  • Comfortable with doing promotions and working with the public.
  • Comfortable with cleaning in the office and office washrooms.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, fast paced position and a varied work environment.
