ABOUT US

Established in 1993, Cherubs Nurseries is a family-run business on a mission to give all children the personalities, skills and experiences they need to take on the world, without limitations. Central to our approach (inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School) is our Community Life work which aims to make the communities we serve better places to live, work and grow up in. From annual fundraising events to community clean ups and a robust Sustainability Action Plan.
We know it takes a village to raise a child and we want our nurseries to be reflective of our communities. We champion diversity in the early years sector and are driven to bring more men into early years, supporting MITEY to achieve a mixed-gender early years workforce.

Responsibilities
  • Complete various tasks to support business leaders including typing, scheduling meetings, sharing meeting agendas and following up.
  • Be responsible for the look, feel and presentation of the office – organising deep cleans when needed, reporting maintenance and keeping a clean and organised space.
  • Be proficient in the main nursery systems and Microsoft Office, being able to explain these to parents and effectively coach the nursery teams.
  • Support operational logistics, delivering internal mail and shared resources and equipment to our nurseries across the East Midlands.
  • Prepare and organise resources for staff training, meetings and workshops.
  • Cover inbound calls to support the Parent Experience Team, transferring calls internally and sharing information/messages as necessary.
  • Support with organising and coordinating central calendars, ensuring single source of truth.
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy supporting various business functions including accounts/finance, operations and people.
  • Keep digital and physical records up to date, organised and complaint with relevant regulations.
  • Support with filing, scanning, photocopying and other administrative tasks.
  • Be responsible for creating, printing and distributing staff IDs for our 300+ strong workforce, replacing when they expire or individuals have a change to their role.
Ready to make an impact beyond our nurseries? Join our team and help shape the future of early years care and education from the heart of our organisation. If you’re driven, collaborative, and passionate about making a real difference - apply today.
